Customs Procedure Codes are 7 digits long. They are used to tell HMRC what you are doing with imported product (first 2 digits), which customs routine they have come from (digits 3 and 4) and the final 3 are statistical reporting highlighting any other required detail. The CPC is changing to Procedure Codes and Additional Procedure Codes.
