The UK will officially leave the EU on Friday 29th March 2019. Although a period of transition is being negotiated – postponing our exit until 31st December 2020 – the full effects of Brexit may not be clear for some time. It is, however, critical that businesses start to prepare now. What we do know, is that our exit from the EU will have a major impact on customs and trade compliance.

We aim to keep you informed of and up-to-date with any developments that might affect your business. This could be Brexit news, the progress of the new Customs Declaration Service or how to action the latest guidance from HMRC, such as Transitional Simplified Procedures (TSP). As negotiations between the UK and the EU continue, and the CDS programme progresses, our team of customs experts will track and document any changes or updates and report them to you here on our site.
