The Langdon Dutch User Group Association was formally launched in 2000. Meeting four times a year and chaired by one of the Association Members, the User Group represents a unique opportunity to share views and ideas of many of The Netherlands leading corporate organizations involved with Imports and Exports.
Whilst essentially providing a forum for users to contribute to the development of future releases of the Langdon Duty Management System, it also fulfils a more specific need of advising and updating the User Group of forthcoming or potential changes in Customs legislation and procedures and how it will affect them.
Maintaining a global perspective for international companies is as important as understanding the local issues affecting Customs and the trade. To that end, issues relating to G7 messaging, Single European Authorisation and the affects of the global supply chain process are discussed with a view to determining software solutions.
Specialist Customs Consultants from PriceWaterhouseCoopers NV, Senior Customs Officers and representatives from other organizations that have an effect or influence in Duty Management will also regularly attend the meetings, ensuring that discussion and debate results in positive outcomes in order to maintain that competitive edge.
It is a recognition of the contribution that LANGDON Users make that ensures that the LANGDON Duty Management System retains its position as the most comprehensive, innovative and sophisticated solution currently available on the market today.
