with the sale of its software. In fact this is the beginning of an ongoing
relationship which ensures the initial solutions continue to meet our clients'
All LANGDON clients enjoy the provision of extensive on-site training
as an integral part of our service. This is backed up with a detailed, easy
to use reference manual, written specifically to include and take account
of your particular working practices.
From the outset, LANGDON'S policy had been to offer total support and maintenance
to its users. We provide comprehensive support to assist clients both with learning
and understanding Langdon software, as well as providing a valuable service
on matters and queries concerning Customs and Excise.
On-going support is provided at three levels:
1. Telephone Support
LANGDON support staff are available during office
hours to give advice and guidance on all aspects of the Langdon Duty Management
System. We provide dedicated telephone lines specifically routed to our Help
Desk, and manned by experienced personnel, to ensure trouble free operation
of your system.
LANGDON provide more than just a software support desk. Our users are able
to avail themselves of a wealth of experience at the end of a phone. Our advisory
capability on Customs issues, such as procedures and legislation, is unrivalled
in the industry. Our technical department is also available to answer queries
concerning your hardware requirements and configurations, and our independence
makes our advice a valuable commodity.
Our Commitment to implementing quality procedures to IS09001 further enhances
our customer communications and therefore ensures quality and service.
2. Modem Support
LANGDON provides all its users with a modem and communication
software package as part of the support and maintenance agreement. The PC
to PC communication facility allows our Support or Technical staff access
to speedily resolve any queries as they may occur.
Whether you need assistance in preparing a cost benefit
analysis, based on an assessment of your current working practices, or you
are about to enter into feasibility studies within your company, LANGDON have
the unique knowledge and expertise to help you. We can identify and propose
solutions. We will also attend meetings with Custom and Excise at your premises
as your advisers.
Langdon Systems have a policy of closely monitoring legislative changes
and procedures. That way we ensure that our users are always kept abreast
of developments relating to these changes before they occur and are provided
with a solution when they do.
