When all the required data for the transaction is correct a Supplementary Declaration Import (SDI) can be made to Customs.
The declaration will provide all the information required for Customs to link the goods to the frontier declaration, capture the statistical information relating to the import and the goods, and either to confirm the Duty and VAT payable or record that the goods are entering another Customs Procedure such as Customs Warehouse or IPR.| Content of Import | |||||
