Enhanced Security and Safety
Sensitive data never leaves the server, reducing the chance of it being intercepted. Only screens, keystrokes and mouse clicks are communicated over the Internet in encrypted form. The servers are located at a £6 million Ultra secure data centre protected by a power generator to prevent power outage. In the case of a power cut, the servers will continue to be fully operational for another 48 hours. Other security/safety features at the data centre include CCTV monitoring, fire detection and suppression systems, 24 hour manned security entrance, etc.
Flexible Access
The Web-based architecture allows access to DMS R3 from anywhere around the globe. Once disconnected, it is possible to reconnect to the same session at a later date. This provides a degree of tolerance to an unstable Internet connection, and also for instance, the ability to kick-start a lengthy batch process, disconnect and then reconnect later to check on the progress.
